Chasarama

This was a great day in Chase's life and we were so glad to celebrate it with so many friends and family! Janet, you get the award for traveling the farthest - thank you so much for being here. Granny Suz and Grandpa Rich, thank you for all the help with the party and for your long trip as well.

Lefse making = VERY IMPORTANT. We made way more lefse than anyone else there (because Emily doesn't know how to throw away extra potatoes), and Hannah was the star lefse turner. Most importantly, Chase was there too, if only he could have tried some lefse. So yummy.

Chase finally got approved by the insurance to get the cast for his cranio cap this week. The casting was a messy process but he was so good. He only cried a little.

Schools, Birthdays, and More, OH MY!

The kids went back to school on August 23rd, and Hannah and Justin both have had a birthday since.

Chase Weighs 13 Lbs!

Today Chase had his 4-month doctor appointment, so here is the update: he is 13 lbs, 23 1/2 inches long. His head is in the 25th percentile, and he doesn't have to eat 22 cal preemie food anymore! He does have to go to physical therapy, bummer.

In other news, we finally finished the tile in the kitchen, Robert went hunting in Canada and was successful, Emily started her new job, and Uncle Keith came to visit! Here are some photos to make up for the lack of updates in the last month.
