I can't even begin to describe what a relief it is that our friend the oxygen tank is no longer needed.

Room Air Test: AKA The Night From HeLL

Step 1: Wrap pulse-ox sensor around baby's foot.
Step 2: Attempt to sleep with loud beeping ALL NIGHT.
Step 3: Change and feed baby within a 5 foot radius of cord plug-in.
Step 4: Give up on sleep.
Step 5: Have heart-to-heart talk with baby about breathing, because we never want to do this EVER again.

Chase's Trip Home

Chase got to come home on Sunday night! We are so thrilled and we don't miss the hospital at all. Today he went to his first appointment with the pediatrician. Other than some issues with reflux, she says Chase is doing great!

Chase's Weekend

Today Chase got to sit in his carseat for the first time. He had to pass the test - sit for 90 minutes without his oxygen levels decreasing! He and the moose passed with flying colors.

Last night Chase and I spent the night in the hospital "hotel" room. Luckily we made it through without having to press the panic button. Tonight we're staying again and Robert will be here. If Chase gains weight it sounds like he may get to go home tomorrow!

And, Grandma Suzanne came to visit today!
